Range / Habitat: Wader that breeds across temperate Eurasia. Winters on coasts around the Mediterranean, on the Atlantic coast of Europe from Great Britain southwards, and in South Asia.
Field Notes: Medium-sized wader, mottled brown above, lighter below. Orange legs and black-tipped orange bill.
